Tierra Mayor was born as six partners came together with a common aspiration: producing modern-style wines, i.e. top-range wines of gentle flavors and fruity freshness within a framework of respect for environmental conditions and for the quality of local soils.

San Juan province was chosen as the basis for this project. Huanacache district, at the foot of the Andes Mountains, with an altitude of 950 meters above sea level was the specific area where 55 hectares were cultivated by the company. This viticulture and winemaking project combines a unique terroir, a thorough grape selection, a controlled fermentation process in stainless steel tanks, oak barrel aging and expert technical efforts. The final result is the achievement of wines of perfect harmony and balance.

Moreover, Tierra Mayor conveys the history, the beauty and the charm of San Juan.

This way, a family of three wine lines is born: TIERRA MAYOR RESERVA (young wines that express the virtues of the hand-harvested grape), TIERRA MAYOR ACTOS (selected blends made with the best combination of grapes and varietals from its vineyards) and TIERRA MAYOR GRAN RESERVA (which will symbolize the personality of the terroir from Huanacache).
